Nothing says holidays in NYC like the Yule Log. Because who builds a fire in an NYC apartment? If you grew up in the 70′s and 80′s in NYC the answer was WPIX (channel 11). Now it’s available on demand on TWC channel 1006 – in HD. So much better than hauling wood – and greener too!

We love the log! In fact, at my daughter’s school they would out up the fireplace footage on the screen during reading time.
I thought it was weird as a child that channel 11 stopped giving cartooms for the yule log. Still kind of odd now that it has its own channel
We love the Yule Log and is it strange that I actually feel warmer when we have it on???!!! Glad to know that it is a “NYC Thing” and we are not crazy
